The first teaser trailer of the Scott Pilgrim anime is out. The series draws inspiration from Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novels and Edgar Wright’s cult classic 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. And it gets the band together for a delightful animated adventure.Scott Pilgrim Takes Off features the voices of the live-action cast including Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza and others. From the looks of it, the anime series takes the best of the graphic novels and the movie and blends them into a delightful show. It is sure to leave fans nostalgic.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows Scott Pilgrim who falls in love with Romona Flowers. However, he has to defeat all of her evil ex-boyfriends to win her over.
